Parks Pain Again

For the umpteenth consecutive occasion, Holy Cross failed to make significant progress in the Parks Trophy; this year falling at the 1st hurdle to Standard Life.

After a mixed bowling and fielding display (including an 'Ellis Snr moment' from cje) and good batting from Thornton, we had a stiffish total of 141 to chase. Though fairly near the required run rate for most of their innings we eventually required 19 off the last over and only made ten. 44* from KF and bits and pieces from Mr Admin, EC and Shannon.
