Midweek Friendlies

Midweek friendlies start soon. We're conscious that a handful of newer players, and even one or two veterans, have not been getting regular Saturday cricket so far this season, so we'll try to rectify that by giving you some priority in selection for the midweek games.

The format is 20:20 (but no pyjamas, power plays, pyrotechnics or podium prancers), starting as soon after 6pm as possible.

I'll post up the details each week in our regular "and the Week Ahead" spot and volunteers can sign up in the comments section, by e-mail to me at secretary@holycrosscricket.co.uk or in person to our midweek captain, Colin "Coco" McGill.

In the meantime here's the schedule so far, with a nice illustration to keep Mr Anonymous happy - apparently he doesn't like stories without pictures.
