  1. "The MSP for Glasgow said there is no appetite for the game in Scotland, and such scheduling decisions show the need for a separate Scottish television channel"

Hmmmmm, just like the HUGE support for these scottish sports such as Shinty and Curling.

She forgets that viewers in Scotland were not able to watch any of the English FA Cup, despite the large number of Man Ud, Chelsea, Arsenal fans who are scottish and support them.

It's yet more crazy nationalist talk along with

Stirling University - Scottish University of Sport (despite ranking 30 places below Edinburgh and 15-10 places below Aberdeen in the National Rankings, this year losing out to Edinburgh in its previous key sport of Swimming!!!)

  2. More people play cricket in Scotland than they do rugby.

When will the Tartan Taliban and Wee 'Eck Salmond just crawl back under a rock and just behave themselves.

Good to see that they are keen on investing in sport.

Now, what about the Cross faithful coming up with a Scottish TV Channel schedule....

  3. In a classic moment, Alex Salmond's deputy, Nicola 'Looks like a' Sturgeon was at the celebration buffet for being in the Parliment after the last election. They were in Our Dynamic Earth were a friend of mine was working. This girl (1st Class Hons in Evolutionary Biology, Masters underway, PhD next year, touch smart) was asked by Ms Sturgeon

    SNP "You're Scottish?"
    Friend "Yes"
    SNP "Did you vote?"
    Friend "Yes"
SNP "Good, good, who did you vote for?"
    Friend "Green party"
    SNP "Stupid little girl"

Good work of the government to insult one of the countries smartest youngsters about their voting habits.
