If you're watching the highlights tonight look out for Regan West, a Kiwi now playing for Ireland. Long-serving Cross 1st teamers will remember some of his outrageous batting performances against us in 2000 and 2001 while playing for Penicuik 2nds, alongside a certain JK Fraser. West is slated to bat at 10 for Ireland.

I remember once upon a time a long long time ago having an argument with Reagan West about him slagging off my mother from first slip, and Ricky Dyer being sent our with new gloves for me to tell me to shut up. Mr West had been incapacitated somewhat by burning his hand on a McDonald's burger grill?
