  1. Carlton have a nice report on the game which compliments the club and the pitch. No complaints losing to such a sporting side.

I seriously doubt this phrase is written frequently!!!!!!

  3. The 2nds are used to topsy turvy games and with Carlton 49-5, we were hopeful, but Josh Walker, batting at No 7 scored 71 and with a solid James Hilton they put on nearly 100. We had chances and they got edges over the slips, but they played very positively - and good luck to lower order batsmen who prove their worth ( quite right say Gerry, Zeeshan and Andy G)

Ziggy had a plan to leave a gap at midwicket for Josh who kept sweeping Geerry off middle stump; the umpire was ready to give any one of these shots out if he missed - but he didn't. At least Ziggy pulled off a coup by placing 8 men on the off side to their powerful left hander with himself the lone fielder at mid-on; a big heave on the leg and 1-0 to Ziggy - brilliant.

  4. Josh was a jammy so and so, who somehow missed being bowled by me twice before he made 50. One of the deliveries led to their wicketkeeper (who was umpiring at the time) to ask me what sort of a sinful life i had been living and how do you get one!!!!

The plan to the lefty was sheer brilliance, i hope Ziggy keeps faith with his guts
