Goodbye Traitorous Scum

Official club statement regarding the following ex-Holy Cross players: D. Russell, R. Bainbridge, M. Brown

Following certain revelations about their disloyalty to the Cross (revealed here), the President has decreed that these fifth columnists be shunned-or (in keeping with the President's preference for classical reference) ostracized.

Please do not fraternise or communicate with these persons (do not even enter into email or 'text' correspondence with them-or play golf with them).

  2. My mate is a taxi driver and told me honest to god that he had spotted CJE in the vicinity Grange Loan and dropped EC off close to Leith Links.

The transfer window always brings out wild speculation and this is nothing more than that the fans have always been good to me and did you not see me kiss the badge after every wicket last season?

  3. The "official club spokesman" needs to check his sources. In true caughtoffside.com tradition they're spouting a load of kack.
If I were to state that Wayne Rooney would sign for Aberdeen in the summer that would make me bit of an idiot. However, the spangle that regurgitates this as being fact (without checking with aforesaid Mr Rooney) is in serious need of a reality check and ought to get a grip.

PS. Anyone calling a belter "traitorous scum" better have a big feckin sword or fast running shoes.
Either way i'll be sortin' them oot on Saturday!!
    Up the Cross

  4. Bainbro,

Kissing your badge twice hardly makes you Allan Border.

Especially when it's your Justin Bieber Fan Club badge.

  5. Ooooft! Outrageous allegations and totally unfounded based on pure News of the World style speculation. I trust of course that CJEs article is in some form of jest?

See you all at the AGM on Saturday.

  6. I notice the website is down, so the evidence has been covered up. It's the dodgy dossier of ESCA cricket! I can only assume we are 45 minutes away from a complete rebellion!
