The New Flintoff?

Just as England's leading bowling all-rounder retires, it's gratifying to see his natural successor emerge.

Tall, blonde, well-spoken and with a past as an opening batsman, he has recently emerged as a bowler of genuine high class.

Despite initial reticence about bowling he now appears ON TOP of the 2nd team end of season bowling averages with 14 wickets at 13.57 (that's above proven performers such as Lohan, Biswas, Smith and er..Pope).

  1. Does the "new Flintoff" Not top the 2's batting averages as well?

What are the chances of a "Batesallo" incident in Inverleith Pond Saturday night/Sunday morning.

  4. Your right there! According to the stats I believe I'm a cricketer rather than a geological process which is actually more accurate!!!

  5. ziggy we all know statistics mean everything! Hence why the person who is top of the batting averages (2XI) and second top of the bowling averages (2XI)... andy graham should be the new flintoff. Going by runs per over in both respects as well!

  6. I'm happy to have two 'new flintoffs' playing at the cross, particularly if they are in the 2s!
