Think the keeper is at fault for that one!

ReplyDeleteSandy, I think you tend to overdo the experimentation....stick to your disciplines...
I took one of my best ever catches off Sandy's bowling, I got back to the Arbo, where news of the stunner had been delievered by Mike Nevin and Ziggy rather rudely told me to get lost because the week before I'd dropped a sitter for the 2's....
ReplyDeleteJames, I have no memory of this or any other wicket I have ever taken as I have always considered each and every one to be a fluke. However, I think it is important to realise that the principal reason it was one of your best ever catches is that it had to be. No doubt the batsman (I hate the word batter unless it is connected to fish) was attempting to deposit my bowling in some far distant land and it took some pantherlike intervention on your behalf to thwart them. For this I thank you but I would look at it more as another six saved.
