Holy Cross recorded their third win of the East One season with a comfortable victory over Marchmont on Saturday.
Fielding first the home side put in a good shift at Arboretum to see the men from Cavalry Park dismissed for 138. Raja Javed was the pick of the attack with 4-42 while for the visitors Alan Renwick and Matt Loeffen both dug in for 33 each.
In reply Keith Fraser and Charlie Ellis were on top form as Holy Cross won by nine wickets, Fraser scoring 81 not out and well supported by the latter with 41 not out.
