Is this Holy Cross' first ever appearance in the Scottish Cup? (or like the European Cup-Champions League change, has the 'expansion' of the event diluted the competition in some way so that though it is still called the Scottish Cup it is no longer 'the Scottish Cup'? ... er, hopefully that makes sense)..

Message for Social Convener: Surely some sort of special treatment required for 'Scottish Cup weekend'. Tea for 2 booted into touch for a start, maybe declare a 'Greggs Free Day'. I'll take a selection of hams with freshly baked bloomer(and I don't mean a pack from Iceland and a pack from Somerfield).
ReplyDeleteI'll be hopin to see, if not a marquee, at least a two man tent, as score hut. And when the teams leave the field, at least a glass of Bucks Fizz (there must be some BG champagne kickin about somewhere in Admins flat).
Actually, I forgot, we're Holy Cross, nobody will be available, we won't even have XI and we'll get (yet another) cricketing lesson...
Poor Irvine.
ReplyDeleteeasy win for Irvin unless wicket is muddy
