A small, friendly cricket club based in north Edinburgh, near Inverleith Park and the Botanics. We put out two Saturday elevens in the East League in Divisions 4 and 7 and play midweek cup ties and friendlies. I believe Mark's lot are the third party in Uddingston & Bellshill, although if anyone there spots that two thirds of his blog followers are Edinburgh cricketers that might quickly change.

is the problematic part 'Edinburgh' or 'cricketers'-or the two combined..i.e. is 'Edinburgh cricketers' a euphemism for English....
As Mark seems to be a decent sort, lets hope he doesn't get voted in and become one of those robbin' politicians. Should we start a 'Save Broonster' campaign now? A simple FCUK Teacakes slogan should do the trick. And how would election affect his availability? No to election, yes to selection!!!
