Holy Cross Reading Group - February update

 

Just to say that our current book: Gideon Haigh's Many a Slip: A Diary of a Club Cricket Season is back in my possession-please tell me if you want to borrow it.

Given that the HCACCWSGL is in full swing, HX golfers might also consider looking at Andrew Greig's (excellent) Preferred Lies which is currently being read by Smudger and Ellis Snr.

Two Dogs or Two Shots?



















Apparently Mr Worsnop has (again) been the subject of attention in the Scottish press.

Given that he seems reluctant to associate his business with the HX blog (...), we won't link to it here.

Those who played with him at Craigmillar Park may be surprised by his comment: 'I occasionally play golf very badly.' Seems like 'occasionally' he also plays it very well - especially when hitting a 4 iron uphill...
