Cross lose in Midweek Mudbath Madness

According to Bimbo a reliable source, the insane Midweekers' match against Tranent went ahead this evening, despite the torrential rain...

HX making 93 in their 16 overs (runs for Vikram I believe) and Tranent passing that total with 1 over to spare (34* for returning ex-Crosser Judas Suli Malik).

    Poor Charlie, he puts, blood, sweat and tears into that square and that poor end bit of the square got pretty hammered tonight, went home, pissed on the dog, vomited on the missus and got sent to sleep on the counch.

    Tonight, a number of Tranenters and a couple of crossers, learnt that spikes were needed!

    Of the 22 players present, 16 had represented the Cross!

    Actually 7 of the Tranent team have played for Holy X, making 18 in total.
