Baffling Figures ?

The following mysterious figures have recently been circulated amongst selected Crossers.

RE (14) 33
SR (8) 28
CE (12) 32
SS (20) 37
MR(18) 39
EC (18) 27

What do they possibly refer to??

I presumed that they referred to some innocent activity till I picked them up* this afternoon on my wind-up short wave radio:

*to be honest reception was pretty fuzzy, so I might have imagined it.

    Maybe these numbers aren't as random as they first appear. Some correlation with the warm up routine may be observed here.

    Smudger - Beer - 37
    Rellis - OJ - 33
    Cellis - OJ - 32
    Cousin Sandy - nothing - 28
    EC - OJ - 27

    Is it a reference to HolyCrossDressing Society?

    The figure in brackets referring to dress size and the second figure relating to years of membership. Can it be assumed that Richard, Sandy, Charlie, Smudger, Shifty and Euan are the current members?
