A number of Crossers have complained about the lack of reports on 1xst team matches.

Well, here's a full report from the match yesterday vs Glenrothes:

But at least those who took part can say they played when several club records were broken....

Having matched the performance of the 1st XI of 1997, questions have been raised about the relative merits of the two sides...

1st attempt rained off

Steady morning /early afternoon rain caused the cancellation of the 1sts' pre-season game versus M/Dafs.

What's that old joke about the the most reliable way to end a period of drought being to stick 6 pieces of wood into the middle of a tightly mown field...

In truth we didn't get as far as putting any stumps in the ground.

Weather did pick up later but it would've been a soggy and chilly game.

Let's hope for better weather next week-when we take on Marchmont.
