We put out two Saturday elevens in the East League in Divisions 4 and 7 and play midweek cup ties and friendlies. ReplyDeleteJust use the roller, i'm sure it made for an excellent football pitch the next day a couple of years ago when we rolled the penalty area for them

don't bother replacing the divot-unless it comes out in one chunk and the ground is moist.
instead carry round a mixture of seed, soil and sand and fill your divots with it.
given the way you play, make it a large sack
