League Weekend 1 and the Week Ahead

Saturday sees the first full wekend of League action. All games start at 1 pm. Fixtures as follows -
  • 1sts vs Watsonians 2nds, Arbo. Umpires - Ted Anderson and Imtiaz Ahmed.
  • 2nds vs Watsonians 3rds, Craiglockhart.
  • 3rds vs Kirk Brae 2nds, away, Inverleith Park artificial.
Good luck to all and don't forget nets on Wednesday night at New Field.

    The umpires gave 8 lbws in the first 2 league matches (East Academy) out of the 32 wickets which fell.

    I noted this on the Watsonians website:
    "Please note that as availability improves then current form, attendance at training sessions and payment of club membership & subscriptions will all be taken into consideration by the selection committee* when considering the make up of the sides."

    I'd like to ask the selection commitee if we follow similar principals?
