And back down to earth with a bump ..... Winter nets will again be held at the Galleon sports centre at George Watson's on Colinton Road. 2pm-4pm on Saturdays 25th February, 3rd March, 10th March, 17th March and 24th March. As usual, new players are very welcome. Just turn up on the day or, if you prefer, email us at this address.
AGM details will be released shortly - basically as soon as the Dear Leader and I have stitched up the 1st XI captaincy election and got our contacts in the Asian gambling syndicates to put the club funds on the sacrificial victim lucky winner down at Honest Keith's bookies. (Of course, keen readers of this blog may remember that the captaincy was actually decided over a year ago.)
A small, friendly cricket club based in north Edinburgh, near Inverleith Park and the Botanics. We put out two Saturday elevens in the East League in Divisions 4 and 7 and play midweek cup ties and friendlies. If you’d like to play some cricket, whatever your ability and however long you're in Edinburgh, please contact us through the link below.
