KF has been locked safely up since the end of season wracking his brain and studying ancient scriptures to find a set of questions challenging enough for the great minds of the Cross.
Bar opens at 7. Quiz starts when KF gets there.
His instructions are thus:
Test your brain against McGill (or headbutt him, whatever is easiest)
Max 5 players per team, singletons welcome
7pm for 7.30 start, (purely aspirational bearing in mind the identity of the quizmaster)
Not just for HX players, bring mates, femmes etc
Random, gruelling, quirky and inventive rounds
Prize/entry fee tbc

ReplyDeletehow did the 'dream team' of Mr Admin, the Pres and Coco get on?
The Paltry Party consisting of 3 burdz plus the good Dr & an Aussie Pro overcame the challenge of T.I.T's (Coco & kids). Crouching Woman, Hidden Cucumber (Quinn, Robbo sr, Ziggy, Vik & Nip) I think came 3rd ahead of Bainbro & Pat's team (named after our postcode?). The Old Codgers, two thirds of whom were in bed before the last round, edged in last. Two of them were umpires, one was PVB and the last round was The Laws of Cricket. I think the winning score was about 39 from a possible 124ish.
