Cricket on the Meadows: A promotional opportunity?

A nice photo of cricket on the Meadows last Saturday- from the BBC website.

More spectators than Scotland had at the Grange, I'd venture (Indeed, I'd suggest - quite seriously - that Cricket Scotland ought to take advantage of the large number of potential spectators at the Meadows. Perhaps an exhibition match on a sunny summer evening might be a way to promote the game?? Any thoughts.

The pitches might be a problem - but a decent pitch wouldn't take that long to prepare with proper equipment/ covers etc
