We put out two Saturday elevens in the East League in Divisions 4 and 7 and play midweek cup ties and friendlies. League Weekend 1 and the Week Ahead
And so it all begins again as the 1sts kick off their League campaign ludicrously early thanks to SNCL reconstruction .....
Saturday 23rd April, 1pm, 1sts vs Murrayfield DAFS at Arbo (no umpires)
Thursday 28th April, 6pm onwards, nets at Newfield
'no umpires' yes no need for them in this fixture: we are such sporting teams that both sets of batsmen will walk if they feel they are trapped lb-they can seek the bowler's advice if they are unsure. 1st slip will adjudicate on wides; extra cover on front foot no balls.
